Granite is harder, more scratch-resistant, and more heat-tolerant than marble, making it the more practical choice for heavily used kitchen worktops. Marble is softer and can stain or etch with acids (citrus, vinegar), but offers a unique veining pattern that many clients prefer for its aesthetics. Both are popular in Qatar; we supply and install both with appropriate sealing recommendations.
